This short 15-minute Kick-Off intro module focuses on:

1: What is a KnowGO & What is a GO animated introduction
2: How can you tell the difference between a GO & a KnowGO?
3: How do KnowGO feelings manifest in your body?
4: An introduction to the 4 program topics
5: Students have a voting practice to engage with animations

Interactive "GO" or "KnowGO" animations that include:
• An overview of "GO" and "KnowGO" feelings
• Interactive sign practice wtih scenario animations
A game of "Act Out" where students act out feelings

Class Activity

Students stand up and "Act Out" their feelings to music.

• Read the emotions and feelings on each slide
• Students "Act Out" the feelings
• Students use facial expressions, body movements or poses
• Emphasis on how the feeling on the slide feels in your body
• Have fun and laugh! This is a light and fun exercise

Voting Practice with the KnowGO Signs

Your school will be provided with KnowGO Signs. 

• Students will use the signs to vote on simple vignettes
• Students get acquainted with how the KnowGO voting works.
• The scenarios are short making thisa fast paced exercise

Desktop printer + printer versions 

School Poster

Posters for both school classrooms and common areas
Posters come in 2 sizes: 1 for desktop printers, 1 for local printers
Posters are to be displayed in class the day of the module
Keep each module poster up throughout the year
Posters serve as a reminder of the KnowGO strategies
